We really liked Ewell Castle for our DD who is dyslexic. Lots of Send support. We’ve chosen to go girls only for her, but might work for you? Or kingswood house in epsom

Bedes and Frensham Heights both cater for a degree of dyslexia on the Indie front, there are also some more specialist schools.

What are the main problem areas?

I have a DD with quite severe dyslexia and hypermobile fingers in Y8 in state sector. She doesn't really get any specific help from school - touch types and uses ipad with keyboard for everything - but staff are all very supportive and see beyond the issues with spelling.

@Greennz couple of questions:

  • day or boarding (independent sector)?
  • when you say travel is that you transporting or do you need somewhere with coaches etc?
  • how bad is the dyslexia (ehcp level)?
  • coed or single sex?
