Nottingham Girls or Hollygirt

We're moving our girls to a different school for September (one will start reception and the other will be going into year 2). We've narrowed it down to these two. Nottingham seems to stringent, while these two seemed to have a more gentle approach.

I'm struggling to find much information about Hollygirt. I'm really liking their new headmistress but anyone that has had children there or knows more. I'm happy to hear.

Nottingham Girls’ High School is absolutely excellent. I have friends with children at Hollygirt and to a large extent which school you go for will very much depend on your daughters. Some families will have one at one school & one at the other.

I preferred NGHS. Julie Keller & Laura Fowler are both great headteachers & they really got the best out of my daughters. In addition, NGHS has great sport, drama, outdoor learning & other co-curricular that Hollygirt can’t offer due to its relative small size

You mention Nottingham being too stringent. Do you mean Nottingham High School (now co-ed, was all boys)? It’s a machine.
