Friday seems really late.
DS2 finished yesterday (nursery) and DS1 finished today (year 1).

sphil · 19/12/2007 23:16

Yep, DS1 3.10 Friday. Play last week, party today, carol service (children sing for staff) on Friday. And in Ds's words 'No work, just Christmas stuff!'

unknownrebelbang · 19/12/2007 23:19

DS2 and DS3 don't finish until 3.30 pm.

DS1 (secondary) usually finishes lunchtime on the last day of term, but a parent complained last year, so not quite sure what's happening this year. Must ask him.

myrrhthamoo · 19/12/2007 23:20

Yep, 3pm Friday. I'm glad as I know once they break up they will be even more manic with excitement than they are now.

unknownrebelbang · 19/12/2007 23:21

Yes, must be honest, I'm glad too, means I've only got to look after them for one day before we go on holiday (and they're out most of Saturday anyway, lol).

LUCYKateallthemincepies · 19/12/2007 23:39

dd finishes friday 3.30, back on the 3rd jan, short holiday for us this year

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 19/12/2007 23:54

3.30pm on Friday here too.

I never thought it would happen, but DD is finally exhausted.

discoverlife · 20/12/2007 00:22

3:15 Thursday. Be really glad to get him home with a few lie ins. He was in tears tonight because he was filling in his Xmas cards and his handwriting wasn't as nice as in school. He went to bed white and weepy. So I let him crawl into mine. My side of the bed is now nice and toasty.

Friday too, had parties and coffee evenings this week, last day of swimming lessons on Friday

RosaLuxMundi · 20/12/2007 00:31

We finish at 3.15 on Friday. Mind you, all day Friday is the school talent show. Sadly, parents don't get to watch. Will swallow my disappointment and do the Sainsbury's run instead.

1dilemma · 20/12/2007 00:44

2pm here wish it was more holiday in December and less in Jan!

Bridie3 · 20/12/2007 08:45

Daughter finishes Friday, 2pm. Son broke up last Friday.

I feel sorry for the teachers. So little time for them to get organised for Christmas. They look shattered.
