Roedean School

My girl got accepted by Roedean for Year 9 in 2022, any current parents can comment the school? Any bullying? Academic? Pastoral control? ECAs? Are the teachers helpful?
Btw, I have came across an news saying Roedean has financial problem, is it true? Thanks everyone first!

Hi Karanica. I am following this thread, as my daughter has also been accepted for Year 9 next academic year. I do not any insight to the school, but they did just send prospective parents an Independent Schools Investigation report which provides some details on different aspects of the school. Did you receive it?
Regarding the financial problem, I think you may be referring to the Roedean Moira prep school which was being financially supported by Roedean but no more.
I do hope someone with insight is able to answer your questions first hand. I have been searching back to this thread to see if there are any updates! Good luck to us both.

I have x2 DDs there, one about to leave the 6th form.
I can honestly say that neither of my girls have experienced bullying or issues in all the time they have been at Roedean, they have both been well looked after and most importantly, love school. The last 7 years have been a wonderful experience for my daughters (and for me!) I cannot recommend the school enough and wish your daughter good luck for September!

Same here, DD been at Roedean 4 years and it’s wonderful. She’s incredibly happy and loves school.

My daughter is an ex Roedean pupil. Honestly thought it was a lovely school & my daughter loved it. Doubt the ethos has changed that much since she left
