The independent school we’re aiming for at 11+ entry sets their own maths and English exams based on the national curriculum and ISEB.
My Y6 DC is working through the atom curriculum and I am trying to trust in the system but would like to start taking mock tests to monitor progress.
The mocks available that are relevant to us are:
ISEB common pre-test (English, maths, VR, NVR)
ISEB common entrance 11+ (only seems to be science)
Year 6 atom foundation (maths, English, science, VR, NVR)
I was under the impression that the pre-test was the exam taken in year 7 in preparation for 13+ entry, is that right?
If so, with science being the only subject in the 11+ common entrance mock, do we just take the atom year 6 foundation tests?
I’d be grateful for any advice.
