I don't get why people aren't more qualified for departments.

Ex school teacher for education

Ex cop or criminal justice for home secretary

@StarCat2020 I completely agree, it makes no sense. I'm sure people who actually had some experience and were more qualified for the roles would do a much better job.

Delighted that he’s gone of course but I wish I was more hopeful for the future. Until we have a pool of ministers who are actually qualified in something relevant and then they are properly held accountable, how can anything change.
