How much interest do you take in your child's school Ofsted reports?

What are / were your key considerations when deciding which secondary school your child will go to?

Just seen your comment about friends. DS is in secondary now, and only one of the children from Primary went there too. They've got a fab new group of friends, all from different schools.

My DH worked at a school graded outstanding. He was so disgusted with what the head was prepared to do to get that grade that he was depressed and had a real crisis and wanted to quick the profession.

Luckily he didnt as he is a brilliant teacher and an asset to his school.

On this basis i would urge parents to look beyond this grading
