Radley boarding houses

Hello,
Any parents with DC at the school. We have to choose boarding houses, but we have not visited due to lockdown. I noted that they now have videos of all the Socials online. They mostly look the same, while not exactly the same, iyswim.

Wondered if there are any recent or current parents who could give more insight. I guess, I am currently going by HM and layout of the houses. There are some which look very spacious. We are fine with either all Shells in one corridor or the little groupings some have.

Do you want purpose built, or older style?
How big a 'patch' is your son likely too want?
Does he need to be close to the music / rowing/ CCF block?
DS left a year ago, and he says it's more to do with the cohort than anything else.

We are not worried about building style.
DS is not that sporty (though I am praying the school helps him go in the sporty direction), so not too bothered about patch. He still has not identified favourite music instrument either. I really hope for rowing - which around here, he has not been allowed to do, due to age. He still has to decided on CCF too.

So a clean slate, but hoping he gets more interested in all the above.
