Driving to secondary school Guildford to Godalming

Hello. Does anyone live in Guildford and drive to Godalming for the school run ? I am wondering what the traffic is like at around 8am.

I don't I this, but I'd have thought you'd be ok as you would be going in the opposite direction from most people.

If it's secondary school isn't it easier for them to use the train?

Agree that you'll be travelling in the best direction traffic-wise.

I think it depends which part of Guildford you are travelling from - I agree it’s against the traffic but I used to live in Merrow and the morning traffic was horrendeous.

We’ve done this occasionally- central Guildford (near the London Road station) to Prior’s Field. Absolutely fine getting to PF, total nightmare coming back. We mostly used the school bus.
