I am SO proud of Dd2

She has had a bit of a rough time of things lately, what with me and her dad splitting, her struggle to keep her handwashing OCD under control and her awful awful mood swings, but I am so proud of her.

Today, her class voted for her to be their class councillor (sp?) and then her teacher was so impressed with a mythical story that she'd written, that he read it out in assembly and the head gave her a head teachers award. Oh and her teacher informed me that he reading sills were amazing

She is such a star and I am so glad that despite everything she is going through, she is still doing so well at school. Tis not a bragging post, just wanted to say how proud I am of her as I know that some days all she wants to do really is stay in bed, but she gets up, goes to school and does her very best

Brilliant. Well done your DD. And lovely that you are so proud of her.

Just a little update, DD1 has now also been voted in as school councillor by her classmates, so I am doubly proud now
