Hi all, do you know where I can get the list of all pre preps in London between age 4-7 years old? I am just looking for the feeder schools preparing kids for 7+ exams but having difficulties accessing a consoludated list? Thanks

For Southwest London there is The Rowans in Wimbledon where the girls leave at 7 but the boys can stay as the pre-prep is part of the Shrewsbury House school group that goes up to 13.

Are you looking for dd or ds and which schools are you aiming for at 7+?

Herne Hill is lovely.

Looking for ds, we already contacted with rowans school but trying to look for more options as we may not get in. We are quite flexible in terms of location but just trying to find good feeder schools that may prepare the kids for 7+ for good top schools.

There’s a website called London pre-prep or prep which has lots of info (albeit skewed to N and SW London). I haven’t looked at it for years though so can’t say how up to date it is.

@niluferturhan , there are very few left, there aren't enough places for boys at age 7 to guarantee everyone would get a place if they left at the end of year 2 so the pre-preps have developed into preps or in some cases closed down. It's slightly different for girls in SW London esp because LEH juniors starts at age 7 and has over 40 places.

Merlín School in Putney
Chiswick and Bedford Park used to but just got taken over by a big school group who will merge with another school so I guess the 7+ prep for boys will disappear.
I am not sure who else feeds into Kings in Wimbledon but other posters may tell you.
Also Hamptons pre-prep - you could start there and see if you stay at Hamptons or can try Kings.
Tower House and leave in Y3?
Faulkner house boys - they do prepare if they think the boy is ready I believe
And Wetherby of course.

Great thanks for the comments. I am already in contact with the schools mentioned here. Merlin school yes good option, hampton pre prep we took the assessment appeared in waitlist but we were not manage to get an offer unfortunately. I will check tower house if exit 7+ cause otherwise they will not prepare kids for 7+, same for faulkner as they go up beyond 7+ (13 I guess?) and finally wetherby same story but anyway we are too late for them as I am looking for 2022 entry.
