North East London independent secondaries

Can anyone recommend any independent econdary schools in North East London OR Essex that are not highly selective or super academic focussed? Child is average ability and I'm not keen to be super pushy. Feels like there's not many around and only hear of Chigwell Forest Bancroft which all are competitive to enter at 11plus. Thanks

Felsted for co-Ed. Aldenham for boys. Queenswood for girls. All are boarding and day schools so fees reflect this though.

Aldenham is coed by the way, just boy heavy so I feel probably suits boys perhaps more than girls

Haileybury? It's in Hertfordshire, but only just over the border from Essex.
