Music Workshop in SE London

After showing interest in the BBC2 Classical Star show I'd like to take my DS (5 yrs), to some sort of music workshop. I've seen previous threads for Jo Jingles etc but these are aimed at pre-school. I'm looking for something at the weekends that will give him exposure to a range of instruments and musical styles but above all has to be fun. I know the Horniman occasionally run music workshops but there are only a few a year and I'd like something we can do together regularly. Suggestions/help greatly appreciated.

I think there is a Saturday Club at JAPS or JAGS school in Dulwich...we had a leaflet about it last year, but I have no current information.

Also, try New Peckham Varieties in Camberwell.

Try Wigmore Hall off Oxford circus - they do good workshops for children.

Or you might try the Blackheath Conservatoire. Our two toddlers have really enjoyed the pre-school classes, but I believe there is a fairly wide programme for after school/weekends /holidays for older children too.
