Hi,
I've been planning to move to crawley from Sutton . I was looking through secondary schools and not pleased with any of them . I would appreciate if any suggestion on the secondary schools. I don't understand why there were so many outstanding primary schools and no outstanding secondary schools.
Any personal experience will be much appreciated.

I have been teaching in Sussex a long time and you are right, the Crawley secondary schools dont have the best reputation. St Wilfred's is solid if you have the Catholic thing or you can get into one of the feeders. Catholics get priority though.
Ifield has a good Ofsted and I have a friend who has been teaching there for years and loves it.
If you are moving from London can you afford Horsham? All the high schools are good there.

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion. I also heard about Ifield , Hazelwick and Oriel high school. The issue is we can only apply if we have permanent address closer to school, but that's doesn't mean school place is certain.
