Royal Alexandra and Albert school, Reigate

Hi,

Does anyone have any insights into Royal Alexandra school? Teachers, after school activities, students etc. Also are there any recommended suggestions for state schools in the Reigate area? Thanks in advance for your comments.

What age group are you looking for? RAAS has a tight admissions area for day pupils.

I'd be looking at both primary and secondary, so from 4/5 years age. I'm new to the UK education system so please excuse my knowledge in this field. I'm trying to understand all my options before committing and buying a house in this area.

I don't think RAAS starts until 7 so would have to attend a infant or primary initially. Why are you attracted to it, it has rather mixed reviews if an improving reputation locally.

Has the head recently disappeared with no explanation?

@loveofcake please advise how did your son find the school as sixth former at the school, is he still at school. My daughter may join for her sixth form
this year so your first hand experience will greatly help.
