Brit School application Yr10

Hi all, my son has applied for the Film and Media strand for Yr 10 this year. Just wondering if anyone else’s kids have done the same? We had an email acknowledgment, but heard nothing since regarding an interview or assessment.

Hi, my daughter applied for Musical Theatre Yr 10 and we haven’t heard anything back yet either (apart from the acknowledgment email). If we hear anything we will let you know, but apparently the auditions are held during February and you’re supposed to hear back 2-4 weeks before, so hopefully we’ll both know soon!

Thisjj be is from the prospectus this year for KS4 applications so you may not hear for a few weeks yet.

KS4 workshops and meetings will take place over a fixed three day period from Wednesday 2nd March 2022 to Friday 4th March 2022 only. Please note we will be unable to see KS4 applicants at any other time.

Hi @Mum0577 and @Rapunzel88 - how are you getting on? We found out this week that Dd got an invitation for an audition/interview for KS4 music. The nerves are building in this house as it becomes more of a possibility. Hope yours are doing ok. 🤞🤞🤞

Best of luck to your DD @Lockdowndramaqueen. I actually started this thread last year and am pleased to tell you that my DS got a place and started at Brit in September on the Film and Media strand. He’s absolutely loving it and has made some great friends.
