Prep school or state school

If a child has not the met the required standard for Grammar schools and Private schools , is it right decision to send the child to prep schools and try 13 plus ?

@ChristopherTracy one which we may not choose but closest to our school is Harris Purley

ah ok, I thought that you said we added Harris academy purley , Harris academy Sutton and Riddlesdown . But we are not in catchment of any of these schools

So you will be given Harris Purley by your calculations? I dont know anything about that school at all.

@ChristopherTracy as I said we are not in catchment area . But they have different bands of admission. They had a non verbal exam too . So I think if score is good enough , there is a chance of getting Harris purley
