I’m doing some research on schools in Woking as we’re considering moving to the area. I wanted to get some reviews, opinions on secondary schools. I’d prefer a mixed non religious school if possible. Thanks so much in advance everyone :)

Woking High in Horsell is well established, gets strong results and is highly sought after. I don’t have dc there but many of my friends do and I also know some of the teachers. I have only ever heard positive feedback. Horsell is a great area to live in too. Village feel, close to Woking and train line yet fairly rural.

Have heard better things about Woking High than Winston Churchill. There's also the new school Hoe Valley, Gordon's in West End (but you have to live very close) and Fullbrook slightly further out in New Haw. Avoid Bishop David Brown

I would agree that Woking High has a good reputation, and that Horsell is a great place to live.

The head at Woking high is new but fabulous. She was an internal hire and is well liked and respected by the staff as being compassionate, caring, high standards and gets the job done. Highly recommend!
