Trying to judge how busy DLP will be when we go week after next.

We are in Sheffield, and not on half term for another week.

Here is West Lothian we've just had it Hula. I think most of the Scottish Authorities October breaks have been and gone, as our term starts so much earlier than yours, in august.

christywhisty · 19/10/2007 21:52

we in Herts are next week.

corblimeycharlie · 19/10/2007 21:55

We in South Wales are week after next. Hoping Alton Towers won't be too busy then for DD's birthday treat.

oooggs · 19/10/2007 21:56

In Cornwall we are the week after next but Devon is next week!

foofi · 19/10/2007 21:56

We are 'down south' and next week will be half term.

TrinityRhino · 20/10/2007 09:42

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the kids go back to school on Monday after 2 LONG weeks off

LIZS · 20/10/2007 10:32

We have until a week on Wednesday but I'd say the next weekend could still be busy with those travelling mid this week anyway.

DLP = Disneyland Paris

We went to DLP 31st Oct to 4th Nov two years ago. We had two weeks for halfterm. It was busy the day we got there - they have a mega Halloween party - and the next day we had to queue, but after that we had two fabulous days. There were still people there, but the crowds had gone. We could get on all the rides without queuing, ncluding the big ones like Space Mountain. We had a fab time, this is a brilliant time to go. If you're lucky, like us, the weather will be fine and crisp. Have a great time. I am only a little bit jealous.

North Wales start on 29th Oct

mankyscotslass · 20/10/2007 11:32

Tameside are week after next.

WendyWeber · 20/10/2007 12:11

For those of you with the week after next, if you fancy a last minute holiday, cottages4you prices are much much lower for the week of Sat 27th.

English Country Cottages are a particular bargain because some fool bumped the prices up for the week of Sat 13th - because of the Scottish hols presumably - and apparently nobody realised the week of Sat 27th was also an English half-term

Miaou · 20/10/2007 12:20

Just finished here (Caithness) - bit of a long way to go for a holiday from where you are, though!

Hulababy · 20/10/2007 13:02

We have been to DLP at Halloween time before, but always been half term before.
