'Small & Nurturing' Boarding Schools Co-Ed

Although British I've lived outside the UK for 25 years so am quite unfamiliar with education in the UK and need to start at the beginning with regards to research and choosing the rights schools.

My DC's are multi-lingual and have learned in the English language for 2 years and have scored well on the ISEB and CAT4 tests for Bryanston and Millfield.

Both schools are a good fit academics/creativity wise.

Despite my children both being unusually bright academically, an environment which is psycho-emotionally healthy is way more important to me than one which is academically striving but has 'lost its heart'.

With both of those schools being large, I"m looking to compare with a couple of smaller boarding schools, incase that seems like it would be a better fit.

Preferably West Country direction, or at least anywhere South/West of London.

Thanks
