Hey
Can anyone give me any info on schools (primary and secondary) in Nantwich?

Difficult to choose as cannot view in person so any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks Smile

Your issue is not so much which primary schools are the best but rather which schools have free places or in a position to take extra pupils. There is a lot of building of new houses going on in the area, which is making things even more difficult.
In terms of secondary schools there is no question that the one that is currently favoured by parents is Brine Lees, 10 years ago it was Malbank. However both schools are full, so do not be surprised if you end up with a secondary school placement at Shavington or Crewe.

If you look at the geographical location of the two secondary schools, which are on different sides of Nantwich then that will give you a good idea of which primary schools may be more appropriate. However both Malbank and Brine Lees have a catchment area and give priority to pupils living in the catchment area. If you get hold of the CE booklet on secondary schools that has a list of which primary schools are in which secondary catchment zone, if you are still in a position of choosing where you live.
