My sons are only 5 and 9 at the moment but we are looking to buy a house in rural Wiltshire. We are primarily settling to give our boys some continuity of education. We are a military family and my 9 year old is already on school number 3.
So we want the rest of his education and that of his little brother to be as happy as possible. Ds1 is extremely able and ds2 is on the autistic spectrum. We need schools that are fantastic at supporting clever, sensitive and sometimes precocious children!
So! Secondary schools! The village primary schools in the area all seem lovely but we know nothing about the secondary education there. Does anyone know anything about Hardenhuish school, Corsham school or Sheldon? We need to know that the catchment area we move to will be suitable once the boys reach year seven.
