Hello,

I have an exam coming up with PearsonVue and I am extremely worried given the reviews on Trust Pilot, 97 % rate it bad?

Has anyone had any experience of this company ?

I did one remotely with them a couple of months ago. It was OK. What exactly are you worried about?

If you have a read of the trust pilot reviews there seem to be a lot of technical issues. I read about people being asked to walk around their room so the proctor could see the room ( during the exam and no extra time added), black screens for 2 hours before the exam and not being allowed to move while they sorted it out, the proctor chat box coming up over the questions each time the proctor wanted the examinees attention.

I also read about someone (in the test centre) who asked if they could use pen and paper for their working- this was okay’d by the proctor then 2 hours into the exam they said it wasn’t okay and the exam was revoked.

It’s quite a time pressured exam! And when I read 97% bad reviews on trust pilot it made me quite nervous.

Oh that wasn't my experience. The fiddling about uploading pictures of the room and ID was a lengthy process. I had about 15 mins wait for a proctor. I nearly passed out when the screen went black as I thought I'd been disconnected but it was just the exam starting!
I didn't have any communication with the proctor, there could have been nobody there. I found that a bit odd. You have a 'notepad' on screen for working which is pretty useless.
But it was OK. I passed the exam!
Good luck. Do make sure you do the computer check well in advance.
