Chandlings vs Manor Prep

We are currently deciding between Chandlings and Manor prep for reception for our daughter. We've visited both and think we prefer Chandlings, but I wanted to know what people's experiences of the two schools are. If you currently send a child to either school, could you let me know your thoughts? How did they handle lockdown? Do you feel your child is thriving? Is parent-school relationships generally positive?

Thanks so much.

My 2 children spent 8 years at Chandlings and absolutely loved it! During lockdown in the summer, they handled it fantastically. There was a full online provision, they had assemblies, met with their form tutors through Google Meets. My son did really well and had a full timetable, he was in Year 6 then. I had a girl and boy attend Chandlings, one was much shyer and he was very happy and comfortable. The children in Reception are always so happy and the relationship the teachers have with the children is so touching on how well they know them. I always felt I could talk to the teachers whenever I needed to and heard from other parents that they really loved Chandlings! The grounds are beautiful and the children are constantly out in them for lessons and acitivities.
