My 5 year old in Y1 is apparently one level away from being a free reader at school.
As part of my DC's Christmas presents, they get a book set each. I'm struggling to find something suitable for my 5 year old, could anyone help with suggestions?
Obviously at 5 he needs something to keep him interested so not to wordy or hard to follow but I equally want to challenge him and not get bored. He loves the novelty of a chapter book!
