St Hughs School Faringdon

Hi I am looking at schools for my 2 year old to start in nursery. We really like St Hughs and we will be living and working close by. How do parents find the school and atmosphere, have read a lot about ex Londoners and entitled children, and as we are neither keen to understand how people find it.

I was waiting for someone to come o ad say they liked it before I posted!!
Personally it would't suit my dc. I find the kids there very spoon-fed and micromanaged.
I mean, it's a well run machine, but I would rather a more family feel, carefree feeling.
It might suit you though. Do you know any current parents there?

Thanks for your reply, yes it is a pretty immaculate, well oiled machine, but having spoken extensively with the new headmaster it is clear that he is hoping to produce children who are proactive, love learning and have an understanding that their privileged education alone in the real world will not open doors, which is something we are passionate about. We also visited Pinewood but felt St Hughs had better facilities and more rounded activities (not so sport focussed). I am hoping some parents who are actually there, or recently left respond.
