We are currently trying to choose between Kimbolton school and (ultimately) Bedford Modern for our children. They'd go to a Harpur Trust prep now if we go for Bedford Modern. Our children will be in reception/year 1 and year 3 when then start but we're mainly concerned at the moment with assessing the secondary schools they'd be feeding to.
We definitely want an academic school with great sport and music, but mainly want it to be a really happy experience.
I would be really keen to hear what everyone thinks about these two schools and any strengths/weaknesses in comparison to each other if you don't mind sharing 
We also have Sharnbrook Academy near us and are exploring all routes, so insights there very welcome too!
