Does anybody have kids in Lady Eleanor Holles School/ St Catherine's Twickenham or St David's Ashford? If yes, can anybody advice me on their handling of children's emotional needs, eg with Lady E.Holles school, pressure of performing can cause worries, are these handled sensitively, because all girls may not be in the top 3% of ability levels. Also, with St Catherine's , are they too strict as they are a Catholic school? Any comments will be appreciated

My cousin went to LEH. She was a very sensitive girl and she always got on very well there. Sorry I can't offer anything further.

my bil teaches music at LEH - I could ask him what he thinks if you'd like - what sort of emotional needs in particular?

I think I can help you Maddy72 - do you have an email address? Don't want to give away too much publicly.

LEH is an academic hothouse. St Davids is for girls who can't get into LEH, Willie Perks, etc.

Thanks all of you. Mimsum, my girl feels happiest when around friends, very people-oriented, but not very out-going, rather shy and not too confident, sensitive to criticism. Is somewhere between the top and middle thirds of her class in state school in performance.
Mybrownbearbarney, my email id is [email protected], would love to hear from you.
