Help, we are officially out of the kids dept for my DD. Any suggestions for a very narrow fitting suitable black shoe or shop that does narrow fit? Most adult styles are like boats on her.

DD has narrow feet. She usually measures as a C for width but ends up having to wear a D with an insole.

The Clarks brogues-style shoes tend to be the only ones that will stay on her feet properly. Buckles are rubbish because they either need extra holes adding to make them fit and/or the strap ends up all the way underneath her shoe. Slip-ons just slip-off!

Ooh thanks - will try those. Do you mean adult Clark’s as we no longer fit the kids styles as she is a size 8. If so that’s great to hear as other adult Clark’s shows we’ve tried are rather wide.

Clarks do girls brogues for school in size 9 the last time I looked. My dd has big feet but due to insoles needs lace ups and these were the only ones that suited her feet and met the schools strict rules.

Oh amazing - last year we bought Startright size 7 Brogueish shoes and I thought those were the biggest for girls. I was told only up to 9 for boys, so this is great intel thank you! We will check them out as sounds like they could be perfect for us too.

Have her feet stopped growing? If using the kids shoe department measurements that allow for growth, she could be a 7?

I wore size 8 shoes for narrow feet at school until I realised this and have happily and comfortably worn a size 7 ever since 😁

My own girls have the same shaped feet as me. Long, narrow, high insteps. They have never suited or fitted Clarke's shoes. The European brands seem to work the best from independent shoe shops.

DD has narrow feet, and we've had Ricosta Kate shoes for years. The local shoe shop that did them closed, and nowhere else ever has anything to fit her, so I get her measured and buy online.

DD1 has narrow feet, a couple of years ago she had Kickers. These do go up to an 8, but they are pricey
