DD1 is due to receive GCSE results on Thursday. We are not convinced she will receive the grades she deserves. Anyone else? Do you have a plan if your DC are part of the results fiasco?

Yep.
DS wants to go to a selective sixth form. Great mocks/ likely predicted grades (7-9). Terrible KS 2 results ( predicted 4 across the board based on those alone).

We're working on the assumption if nothing changes he may scrap in to sixth form ( only "needs" a 6 )and then we will appeal on e he's got a place if possible, or sit them later this year if needed.
We have taken screenshots of reports/ on course for grades and mock results on the schools online tracking system, just in case they disappear on the day. School are great but there are over 300 hundred pupils in his year group and it's going to be carnage I think.
