Abc question

Where do you finish singing the first bit of abc? Is it “l,m,n” and then you pause and move onto “o,p,q” or do you sing “l,m,n,o,p” and then pause in move onto “q,r,s” etc?

I would sing “l m n o p”.

The order of the colours in the “I can sing a rainbow” song is very controversial.

Teacher here (Y1)! I sing it with my class so that they can hear all the letters and learn the order, and don't rush through it either.
So:

Saying 'LMNOP' as is often heard in the song is too quick and confusing for little ears to differentiate between the letter names.

Good to know I am not going crazy. Actually found a NY Times article that says the same as you Margo- finishing on n means it is easier on the ears of little ones learning. Thank you!
