School run taxi/driver

Hoping for some advice. My son’s school is about a 15 minute drive from our house and I need to find a way to get him home each evening. Once he gets home my eldest will be at home to watch him until I’m home from work. He’s almost 11 but not old enough really to get the train home (no bus available). I’ve tried Koru kids but nobody is available. Does anyone use a taxi for school runs or has anyone successfully advertised for a school driver? I have no idea where to start. Any help appreciated!

Local authorities use taxis for getting kids to special schools, or if the only space available for them is too far away (and there isn't a school bus), so some taxi firms are used to having regular schoolday commitments with a DBS-checked driver. It's possible the local authority would tell you who they use.
I take it you've tried appealing for a liftshare with other parents...

Do you have a Driving Miss Daisy franchise close? they mainly transport elderly and disabled people but ours also does school run
