Can you laminate a picture with sand on?

Last time I covered the door in sand and glitter the cleaners did not appreciate my art and I felt suitably guilty, even though it looked awesome, since then I have laminated any glittery pictures I use on the door, so I can still add sparkle without causing the cleaners extra work, does anyone know if I can laminate a picture with sand on without damaging the laminator?

I’ve done it but would suggest do not use too much glue! A very thin layer of sand and make sure to put a piece of card under and above it as you put it through. It does really heat up too so keep an eye on it. 😊
