dd1 told my sister that her friend is hitting her at nursery. apprently she keeps punching her in the face. dd1 says she has told the teachers, but no-one has mentioned it to us. her friend's mum has recently had a baby, and wondering if this is upsetting dd1 friend at all. but dont want my dd1 to be a punchbag for another childs emotions. they usually get on well, altho she didn mention her friend kept telling her she was a little girl (dd1 is short for her age) and dd1 insists she isnt little.

Ah poor dd misdee. Can you have a word with the nursery just ask them to keep an eye on things. Sometimes they aren't even aware there is a problem!

You could do misdee? I'd say it in a very friendly way though as we all know how upset we get when we realise our little darlings aren't so perfect after all

Poor dd1 though I bet she's wondering what's going on bless her?

the things is, dd1 friend was hitting dd1 other friend a few months ago as she didnt want the other friend to play with dd1.

I think she sounds jealous probably because of new baby. May be best to have a wee word with her mum. Does DD1 go in the mornings or afts?
You could put it along the lines of it's so out of character of friend? etc..
My mate's boy used to hit DS1 but we were friends so I could just say. Plus my mate was very good about it.

afternoons. i dont thinkl her mum and baby bro are out of hospital yet. will ask the teachers to keep an eye, if it carries on then will speak to the parents.

Oh maybe it's that then. I wouldn't personally say anything if the baby is that new, just mention it to teacher's or dad maybe?
