Bromley High music scholarship

I am wondering if anyone knows how much a music scholarship is worth at Bromley High School? It doesn't say on their website and they don't have any open events until the Autumn term TBD. Would appreciate if anyone has any insight. Many thanks.

Sorry, I can't answer your question directly but it might be worth looking at other comparable schools nearby to see what they offer - Eltham College and Colfes maybe?

Music scholarships usually offer free tutorial on two instruments and anywhere from 0-25% fee discount. They expect the child to be fully involved in the music department ie; participate in orchestras, possibly choir etc.

You might be able to negotiate too if your ds is of a high standard in two instruments.

ds=dd!

I know someone who moved from the junior school to the senior school, I don’t have exact details but I am led to believe it was a very modest amount between 5% and 10%.

I know some friends who have had 2 dds through the school from juniors through to seniors. V musical - all Steinway school, generous scholarships (I think possibly up to 25% and awards for free music tuition) and they also have a musician in residence who works with gifted musicians one-to-one. I know they also perform their annual school musical at the Churchill in Bromley - we went and it was absolutely amazing!
