Primary teacher willing to support parents

Hi all!

I'm a fully qualified primary school teacher with 8years experience (but pregnant so isolating at home) and was wondering if any parents on here would find it helpful if I were to send them (for free via email) any work, games, puzzles etc... to keep their children occupied. I have posted on "lockdown learning" thread and have so far supported 3 families and friends of friends since posting on Monday evening. Thought I'd post on here too as I can see some parents asking for help.

I can spend my days creating them for you. If they're studying specific themes I can create them using the themes etc.. just let me know which year group they're in, what they need support with or which lessons they enjoy.

I am so willing and happy to help any of you who may not have time to research lots of activities for your children.

If you're interested say hi and we can go from there 😊

Keep safe all.

@Underhiseye2 hello.
I'm happy to help.
I'll see what I can find for you for literacy. Have created some for parents already so I'll adapt to make it suitable for Yr4

Regarding handwriting- yes handwriting can be fixed! I taught a yr 4 boy who's handwriting wasn't even cursive and all joined together in one long sentence! With a lot of intervention he ended up having beautiful cursive handwriting better than the others!

What motivated him was a lot of praise and daily handwriting interventions from single letters to then words to then sentences. I displayed his best handwriting and he loved that.

I can send you handwriting worksheets which comes with the handwriting lines and maybe some praise sheets to use along side it?

I am helping another 10 parents (from other threads I've made) so quite busy, but I'll get onto this as soon as I can and get back to you :)

Just PM me so I can contact you on there.

Smile
