My youngest is due to do the Bucks 11+ in September - worrying now about the impact of missing all this school on their chances - They are very much borderline - though their teacher seems to think Grammar would be the best place for them. Anyone else on here in a similar position ?

I know this is a very small thing in the scheme of things with Covid19

Just do the CGP GL books regularly between now and then. I honestly think the key to success is speed and familiarisation with the types of question. If you need extra maths then do the CGP CEM books too.

Other than that don’t panic. Everybody is in exactly the same boat.

My DD sat it last year with no tuition other than the books at home. I didn’t want to create a situation where she passed but then struggled once she got there. Turns out she aced it and was cool as a cucumber because the pressure just wasn’t there. The books covered everything she needed.

Thank you - my elder daughter did it last year too - but she is very very capable ... whereas as the younger is a late developer - you are right about them all being in the same position
