I will very much appreciate if you can give an insight/advice on which of the two schools you have experience in OP or WA. My DD is very bright and been offered scholarship by OP. Absolutely love OP but concerned that they are not academically ranked among top schools and hence concerned she may not perform as well when it comes to GCSE or will need tutoring etc. WAll is grammar and wherever she goes she will be proud she made it to grammar school and this will be considered highly when going to sixth form or university, hence will do well given that they generally do well going to uxbridge and Russel group universities . OP has more pastoral care and feel it is more suited for her shy personality, but may not help her as much academically.

any advice? Old Palace Whitgift OR Wallington High School for Girls
many thanks to all you all in advance

Be careful of wally girls, many of the girls there are heavily tutored and that is why they have good results. The teaching is a mixture odd good and bad, depending on who you get. A massive negative is that by yr 11 unless you actually have a genius then any confidence they had they will definitely no longer have.
My dd who is in yr 12 and only got 7-9s does not believe she is smart at all, only the girls who have straight 9's are smart according to her.
I know nothing about the other school.

Where does she want to go? Surely she will achieve her potential more easily if she is happy? I would go for what feels right for her as an 11 year old not the ultimate university destinations of a cohort who are some 7 years older than her. When she's at that stage is the right time surely to consider the next stage.

Depends how big your scholarship offer is and where you live tbh.

Can I ask which of these schools you chose? Is your daughter happy in her choice?
