My ds's new teacher is brilliant and fantastic !

Anyone else as pleased as me with their chn's new teacher?
I thought that last year's teacher would take some beating - he actually got my ds to do some work!
But this year ds is actually telling me about his lessons and reciting poems the teacher has done with them.
And to top it all his very clever teacher has made him a chair monitor so that he has to be in school on time in the mornings! The man is a GENIUS!

Cornsilk's I will LMAO if in three months time, you write DS teacher is cr*p you shouldn't count your chickens before they are hatched, two days of school is to soon to know wether they are any good as a teacher. (Actually I wouldn't LMAO, I would be sad for you but YKWIM)

I will probably be saying that next week. I am very fickle you know!

Heh me too, I just love ds new teacher .... today.

My ds's form teacher has made him regiser monitor! As you say, genius move. She also gave him 3 metit marks (probably for brething, but it is the thought tha counts!

It's all hanging on that first comment in his reading record..There'd better be a smiley face or else!

Not sure about ours yet. Lots of gossip in the school playground about how crap he is - he was a float last year because they weren't keen on him having a class. Had to this year due to shortages. He was allegedly given my DD's class because they are a reasonably easy bunch, not too many tearaways for him to cope with.

This is all tittle tattle though, so I shall make my own mind up eventually, poor man!!
First day back today (year 2).
