When I get gunshy on the education threads.

Teachers. Bastards ,all of us.

Please, for the good of my blood pressure, and my ailing wits, before you post consider this.

In the end we are only human.

Sometimes we fuck up.

Sometimes we are ill.

Sometimes tired.

Sometimes worried.

Much as I wish we all got it 100% right 100% of the time, we don't.

No-one does.

And please don't have a pop at me here.

5 hours waiting for dh's chemo, while dashing to teach my year 7s, probably left me under par.

So before you post when the reading books aren't changed, or are change too often,Or your dc got the bear for the weekend, or has a supply teacher thing, teachers are only human.

MB teachers are great & do a fab job of somethimes having to cope with stroppy kids

my aunt is a head teacher and I asked her when DS started school what was the best way to support them in their education and she siad "let the teacher do their job and leave them to get on with it. Don;t be bobbing in and out all the time unless there is an actual problem."

Sound advice - has worked wonderfully. I don;t stress, we all do as we are asked and trust that they know what they are doing.

Quite right, MB. Anyone moaning about teachers should try teaching for a month, I would go mad within a couple of days. Well done for putting up with it all.
