Atom Learning-any experience?

DS is preparing the 11+ for London competitive day schools and his prep school is using Atom Learning. We are considering using it at home but cannot find any evidence that it actually works. It seems to be an ed tech start up that offers its services free to schools, so naturally many have taken it up, but it is so new that I worry whether it is a good use of DS’s time (and our money).
I would welcome experience and views from those who have already used it.

Yes, just used it for several months to prep for eleven plus and some entrance exams.
I found it clearly laid out and easy to use. Love the fact that you can see at a glance what your child has done that week.
My child was encouraged by the virtual badges he earnt.
His stats went up over the months.
I was really impressed actually, highly recommended, and I love the fact that it gives the answers and WHY which is so much better than a lot of the books you can buy which just give the correct answer with no explanation.

my son who attends a state school used Atom last year to prep for his pretest and he did get an offer. He told me after his pretest that some of the questions he had seen them before in Atom (Maths paper), of course it wouldn't have been exact questions but they must have been pretty much similar.

Thank you both for your feedback, very useful. I still wonder though whether it is worth £600 and numerous hours of DS’s time...

It's cheaper than a tutor.

Why is it £600? Is that per month for ten months? Perhaps you could only use for the last four or five months before the exams?

thanks for the above. I was also looking into Atom Learning and heard great reviews. i noticed they're now hosting free online lessons for anyone in English, maths and reasoning (8-12 years old). we signed up on their website and looking forward too!

I think because schools closed
