Taking DD to a bursary application day at DHSfG on Friday, just wondered if anyone had any experience of the application process? Any ideas what sort of income level will attract a bursary and what %? I’m a single parent with a salary of about £36k but I also have a second job on a zero hours contract and last year I earned about £6k Obviously that’s not guaranteed but I know they’ll take it into account.

No idea re bursaries sorry but an ex pupil who had a lovely school time and still in touch with many old school friends despite distances 30+ years later. I know it remains a pleasant place to be educated and we have all done well with our careers.

Bumping for anyone who might have any insider knowledge.

She spent the day there today and loved it, fingers crossed she gets a bursary or I won’t be able to afford to send her
