i asked my son what his french teacher was called and i phrased it thus " your french teacher is called madam what?"

"moiselle" he answered in honesty

i swear hes 11 yrs old and stil cracks me up

Ds, 5, calls my sis' partner Frank - enstein. We've had a LOT of trouble persuading them both that this is NOT what we call him behind his back.

Our dd1 has just started a little PTA French group after school - I came across her 'notes' from the lesson - counting 'un, dur, twa, cat..'
