When's your Easter hols 2005?

Sorry - I know it's early, but we're trying to make some plans on the basis that loads of schools will be back at school when we're still off, (i.e. Legoland will be quiet).

Easter Sunday this year is early: 27 March.

In Cumbria schools are off 25 March - 10 April. (i.e. two full weeks after Easter)

What about your County?

You're right- a very short term between Feb half term and Easter hols. My kids breaking up 23 March going back 11 April.

I'm trying to persuade dh to take some holiday then, he's not keen; but I think lots of Counties are moving over to 6-term year, and only having long weekend at Easter, therefore the last week of our Easter holidays will be a great one to be away - museums, Legoland, etc. will be v quiet. ... IF I'm right!

So I need you guys to provide me with some ammunition to fire at dh!

apart from pilot authorities, I think the fixed easter hols thing doesnt start til the next academic year...

The Parent Centre has approximate national dates; there is another website, which I have bookmarked on a different login, which actually has a dropdown menu so you can check individual LEAs - dead useful. Will post it next time I switch!

I know that I am back at work on DD's birthday - which is the (Tuesday) 5th April. We have two weeks off before that.

Well here in Essex, we have Good Friday and Easter Monday off then back to school on Tuesday 29 March.

We then have a 2 week "Spring Holiday" in April (sometime around 11th).
