Quizzing

DS (9) is getting very interested in school and online quizzing and I was wondering if there are any books or resources I can get for him? He wants books with "more facts, less talk" and I just can't seem to find any! Any books or apps anyone can recommend?

Do you mean things like children's encyclopaedias?

That's the thing, we have checked every library and bookshop. There are plenty of topic-based books he can read, but he is quite keen to find a Q&A type book which has usual quiz questions across all topics.

National Geographic had a series for a few years called "Quiz Whiz" which could be worth looking at.

Usborne do some quiz books on topics like geography I think. For websites, has he discovered Sporcle? Quizzes on every topic you can imagine.
