Hey! My son is 4 he's at nursery full time. He started this year! .. he's a nightmare about it Sadwhen he's there he is ok! But soon as we get home he tells me he isn't going the next day. Every morning is a pure fight just to get him in! I can't understand why any child wouldn't want to play! I know home is comfortable but if he could he would stay at home 24.7 if I'm there lol. Has anyone else had this? Please tell me it will stop!Sad

Some children hate "transitions", that is changing from one thing to another. Could that be it?
Often it can help if you give warning of the transition and ignore any negativity.
Or he could be holding in his unhappiness whilst there and letting it it out at home. Does he lose it after Nursery? Or does he go for alone time?

And I doubt what they do is just "play" all day. If you can find out a bit more or even observe, it might help you understand what is going on. And teachers can sometimes be reluctant to say anything negative.
