My DS will sit the ISEB for both Winchester and Eton within the next few weeks, I would love to hear from mums who have been through this. As this will just be the start in what is a lengthy entrance process any advise would be appreciated .

Thank you in advance

It was straightforward really. Both schools were helpful and welcoming, and made the process easy to navigate. Just take it a step at a time.

I’m assuming your ds is in Y6: in 3 years he will be half a term into his new school, wherever that is, and whether it’s Eton, Winchester or somewhere else, it’s likely that he’ll be settling in and doing fine: all ds’s friends are, wherever they went, as is he.

WinColl don’t use the ISEB pre-test. They test/ interview each child individually.

We only applied to WinColl. Found the process simple and no multiple rounds of tests and interviews was less stressful for DS.

Ignore my previous post - WinColl have started using the pre-test.

Shame.
