St caitherines and Kew interviews

Hi there, next week is our interviews for st caitherines and Kew house very excited and nervous at the same time. Could any mums give their experience please how it was for them... thanks a lot

I don’t know about Kew but we went through the interview at St Catherine’s last year. The head has a chat with the girl first - hobbies, interests, favourite subjects, aspirations etc. She also showed my daughter an object and asked her to talk about it. There’s no right or wrong answers just wants to see the girl can talk about it and not just shrug! Afterwards, the parents are called in (with the daughter sitting outside the room). Again it’s just a chat and a chance for her to see you have a genuine interest in the school, (a lot of people use it as a back up) and for you to ask any questions you might have.

Yes but chose another school. We were sad to turn it down as it seems a lovely school
