Been shopping today with all 4 of my kids to go and get all there new uniform ready for when they start school next month safe to say it was a expensive morning out lol 😆

Dd 14 and ds 11 high school and dd 9 and ds 7 primary school.

I only bought dd 14 a new school jumper £11 and school shoes which are converse style trainers £16

Ds 11 is starting high school so I had to get him a full new uniform
School jumper with school logo £11
School polo tops with school logo £8
Black school trousers £7
School shoes which are black lace up pumps £3
I got him 2 of everything

Dd 9 I only got her a new jumper £11 and shoes £2 Lidl

Ds 7 I got him a new jumper £11 and polo top £7 and school shoes / plain black trainers £12

Still need to get school bags and stationery next week.

wilko own brand stationary is usually really reasonable, so might be worth looking there. i also have a 10% off code that i'm not going to use for JD, so if your dc see any school bags they like in there I'm happy to share it. School shopping is so expensive, especially when they are moving schools!

God you’re lucky, £28 for a logo jumper from the only one supplier we can get it from for an ordinary state high school here, £22 for primary, £40 for shitty academy blazer. I don’t know how they justify it.

we needed 5 pairs of shoes and 4 sports shirts for 1 child. probably up to around £600 so far for 1 child.

Still got to get ds 11 pe kit aswell

You are lucky, most secondaries here have uniforms you can’t buy anywhere but selected suppliers and I paid nearly £300 incl. PE Kit and that didn’t include bags and shoes.
