Fulham Schools??

Can anyone throw some light on the schools in Fulham? We're a NZ couple who have just moved into the area and are utterly confused by what's on offer. We've 2 children (2.5 years and 15 months) with another on the way. Everyone has said we should be booking our boys into school now - but where to start?! The Ofsted reports are very dry ... can anyone give me their opinion?? Much appreciated!

Hi there Kristen and welcome to London! Have you tried the borough website - www.lbhf.gov.uk - it will give you all the state schools in the area. There is one standalone nursery down there (free provision here starts from term in which 3 or term afterwards depending on DOB) and many of the primaries will have nursery classes.

If you are interested in state nursery then ring round in Sept as now is the time to apply. For primaries you are in plenty of time - kids here go in the year they turn 5 (an academic year is Sept-Aug) and in this boro start in Sept/Jan depending on DOB, and you apply the previous year.
